National capital air pollution level is deteriorating from “poor” to “very poor.” Every corner of the city and the NCR region is crying out of pollution. Delhites are unable to breathe properly and eyes are burning with the increasing problem of cough and headache. This is the condition bad air quality has brought us to. Think about it. Are we safe? Are we doing well? The answer is simply NO.

What could be more shocking than a study stating that Delhites might lose 17 years of their lives due to breathing in the worse. The air quality has already reached the “Danger” level, but we continue to stay this way. Or are we used to this poison? A report says that the air we are breathing is 25 times more than the permissible limits as fixed by the WHO (World Health Organization)

The fact that concerns us the most is the PM 2.5 particles found in the smog. It says that once inhaled, it can seriously affect the lungs and the body system. This is the most dangerous pollutant in the air.

Experts from Chicago University says that the Delhites are likely to live 10 to 17 years fewer because of the serious scenario. Experts also says that Air Pollution is one of the top reasons for death across the world.

The reports clearly prove that poor we, what a sad world we’re living in!
