At Pragati Maidan three days are dedicated to the amazing photographers and their tools. Yes, it is Photo Video Asia 2019. “N” numbers of stalls, specialized, manufactures of optics, imaging products and video equipments, unending opportunities to click and capture, model photoshoots, latest technologies, workshops, cheap and costly products, crane for big shoots and what not. This Photo Video Asia 2019 is a divine for Photographers and Videographers.
First day of the fair on 25th, Pragati Maidan was overcrowded with not a bit space to put the feet down. Enthusiast photojournalist visited to find something. Newbies attended to see unlimited opportunities and familiar faces as it was more a reunion for Photographers association from throughout the country.
Hard to believe? Yes, it is true. Photographers association from various states participated and got to learn numerous things that Big Photography Houses had to share. Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu and various states included.
Photography/Videography workshops
Photo Video 2019 Asia has a rational part which is gathering a lot of audience. This is Photo/Video Workshops. If you are a newbie to camera and even if you have few years’ experience and willing to learn more, you must attend the workshops going here to learn the basics of photography and untouched dimensions of this vast profession. Various stalls are initiating their own workshops. Once you get in there, you’ll know so much.

Hey photographers, if you have been looking for a perfect portrait sight or a wedding stage for a trial and not yet able to get it, then rush to Pragati Maidan. You’ll see models ready, all you have to do is to click their fancy faces and practice your fingers on camera for portrait. There are marriage sets with a bride and groom as well. Go and click. This is an opportunity you’ll never find anywhere but here. Opportunities for those seeking career in fashion shoots, come running here. You’ll find models here for product photography as well.
About the Stalls
Stalls including Nikon, Sony, Digitek, IMS, Future FORWAR, Studio news, Odd Monk, e smart studio, DJI, etc are set up here. A tabloid for photography Studio News is capturing special attraction here. An exclusive newspaper initiative in Hindi and soon will be launching in various other regional languages.
What to do?
This Photography/Videography fair comes once in a year. Make the most of it. It started on 25th of September and the show will go on till 27th of September. Timings are from 10 to 6.
Step out of Pragati Maidan metro station and after a few steps of walking shuttles are ready for free service to pick and drop.
You will not be allowed to enter the premises without registration. Not a big deal! Go at the registration counter, fill a simple form, they’ll hand over you a paper band. Tie it on your wrist and show it over the entrance.
